Our client is a leading Asset Management firm in Singapore. They are currently looking for an experienced Data Engineer with a deep understanding of Python, AWS services, Snowflake environments, and modern data engineering practices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in API management, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CICD), as well as proficiency in both relational SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience in selecting tools for data pipelining is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support various financial services applications and analytics initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Implement best practices for data ingestion, storage, and processing in AWS and Snowflake environments.
Manage API integrations and ensure data integrity and security across systems.
Utilize CI/CD practices to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring of data pipelines.
Optimize performance and reliability of data infrastructure through performance tuning and monitoring.

Qualifications:

Expertise in Python programming language for data manipulation and analysis.
Proficiency in AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, and EMR.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake environments, including data warehousing and data lake architecture.
Strong understanding of API management principles and practices.
Experience with relational SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
Experience in selecting and evaluating tools for data pipelining is a plus.
